Some quick news around the horn: Currently out of print is the Criterion Playtime from the Hulot Trilogy from French director Jacques Tati. New copies are surfacing and getting some nice prices ranging from $100.00 to $175.00. The average price at the moment is around $135.00, however, I see this moving upwards in the near future. The sign indicates that right now, this is a hot, hot title!

In other news, I am totally excited for Sin City to come out this weekend. However, if you go to SinCity.com, you will be treated to a different version of the film. So if you want the one based on the comic book, try SinCityTheMovie.com. That seems to be the one I was talking about.

Other notables is that the Muppet Show remains on fire in the OOP Market. A complete set of the 15 DVDs that were released are selling nearly 500.00!!! Amazing!! These DVD's are smoking. They were really hot at Christmas, but now they are burning the house down. Feel the heat!

Other recent high ticket items are Salo, which broke $400.00 recently. Also the Ultimate Toy Box set from Disney which is reaching the $175.00 mark. So we have some old timers and some new timers here in the market. Oh! PS. Be careful of those Emmet Otter DVD's. There are some bootlegs out there. I have not been able to discern the qualities yet, but be on the guard. Some clues are one seller selling many copies of it. Region Free is always speculative. The obvious Chinese writing.
